Handmade in Hida-Takayama, Gifu, Japan by a local artisan. This craft is known to have incredible harmony between the natural wood and the clear lacquer. The original color tone and transparency becomes clearer and more beautiful over the years. This impressive color is a secret guarded by lacquer artisans.

How to handle:
As Shunkei is made of natural materials, please do not soak it in water for a long time.
Use a soft sponge or soft cloth to wash off all dirt, and avoid direct sunlight, proximity to an air-conditioning, and extreme dryness.
Do not use: hard sponge, scrubbing brush, abrasives, bleach, boiling water, a microwave or oven, dishwasher, or drier.
